Frequently Asked Questions
Access your online account at mywater.springaqua.com to renew your filters.
Yes. Join the Spring Aqua Loyalty program by accessing your online account to set it up.
Filters are certified to last 12-18 months and are considered wear and tear. Therefore, we can't provide a warranty on filters due to the many variables that can change the filter's life cycle such as consumption volume and quality of the water in the area. By following the certified guidelines for filter localized configurations and proper maintenance schedules, the filter performance has exceeded many of our customer’s expectations.
Filter renewals can only be returned if they are new and unused, 15% restocking fee may be applied
Yes, you may request a local contractor/plumber to assist with changing the filters. Additional service fees will be paid directly to the contractor/plumber. You may contact Spring Aqua customer service for support.
Yes, you can DIY filter changes. It is actually very easy to do! Detailed instructions are located here. An average filter change may take about 15-30 minutes to complete.

Water Leaks: Working with water filters may create a possibility of a water leak. Local sub-contractors may have a warranty they provide for workmanship. The warranty period varies from different local sub-contractors. If a water leak happens, please contact your local sub-contractor company first, and you may also contact/text Spring Aqua customer service at 206-880-7776 for assistance.
Taste: The taste of Spring Aqua water may take 2-3 days to improve and up to 2-3 weeks to fully optimize. The color of the water may be yellow or green on the first day or two of usage; therefore, flush the system 3-5 mins every morning before using during the first week.
Spluttering: It may take up to 2-4 weeks for all the air bubbles to come out of the 14 filters. At times the water flow will be spluttering, slow, dripping, and un-even. Please let the water run even though at times there might not be much coming out, and eventually it will even out. Flushing the system will help with water flow.
Faucet: Spring Aqua uses a 316-L medical grade stainless steel faucet. You may see a slight drip from the faucet when the water is turned off, which may seem like the faucet has a leak. This occurrence is due to our highly micro-clustered water. We do not use any plastic to create air-tight seals, we only use medical grade stainless steel to maintain high quality, therefore a slight drip may occur from the faucet.
Filter Capacity: Spring Aqua filters capacity WET 7 - 1600 gallons flow-through or 12-18 months, WET 5 – 1100 gallons or 12 months, WET 3 – 1100 gallons or 10-12 months. There is a flow meter in the machine that will track the usage by gallons and our computer system will track the elapsed time for your filter change.

Frequently Asked Questions
Ultra-Enhanced Filtration
Clean, hydrating water once flowed freely on our planet. It is a gift from Mother Earth and at Spring Aqua, we believe she (Mother Earth) got it right.
Numerous springs and healing centers attract millions of people annually due to the active mineral content and healing properties of the water. Scientists have studied the water to determine what is creating the healing and body quenching properties and verified that it is the various rock layers, mineral content, hydrogen, and the structured water, that aid in the holistic effects. Spring Aqua has mimicked these processes by developing a similar ECO System but, in a box and then, deliver it into your home. The system uses no electricity, and no water waste is discharged. The water is clean, hydrating, life promoting, and restores water back with “Nature and Life” for Mother Earth.
Water Filters
A water filter removes impurities by lowering contamination of water using a fine physical barrier, a chemical process, or a biological process. Filters cleanse water to different extents for purposes such as providing agricultural irrigation, accessible drinking water, public and private aquariums, and the safe use of ponds and swimming pools.
Reverse Osmosis
Reverse osmosis (RO) is a water purification technology that uses a semipermeable membrane to remove ions, molecules, and larger particles from drinking water. In reverse osmosis, an applied pressure is used to overcome osmotic pressure, a colligative property, that is driven by chemical potential differences of the solvent, a thermodynamic parameter. This process does not require electricity and wastewater is a by-product.
Distilled Water
Distilled water is water that has been boiled into vapor and condensed back into liquid in a separate container. Impurities and minerals in the original water that do not boil below or at the boiling point of water remain in the original container. These impurities and minerals remain in the processing container and are discarded back into the earth. Thus, distilled water is one type of purified water that is often used in low cost bottled water and the manufacturing industry. This process does require the use of electricity to heat up the water and has no wastewater.
Alkaline Ionized Water
A water ionizer (also known as an alkaline ionizer) is a home appliance designed to raise the pH of drinking water by passing an electric current through the water also known as electrolysis. The treated water is called alkaline water and the acidic wastewater is drained away. This process requires the use of electricity.
Bottled Water
Bottled water is drinking water packaged in PET Bottles. The sources for bottled water generally include well water, distilled municipal water, treated mineral water, and treated spring water. Safety requires that these sources be processed on an industrial scale for resale. Bottled water may be carbonated or not. Sizes range from small single serving bottles to large carboys for water coolers. Pollution is the primary side effect of producing plastic products.
